Bill Farnsworth is a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists, and a Master Signature Member of Oil Painters of America.
The seaside town of Venice, Florida offers abundant coastal scenes and beautiful weather in the middle of winter.
Bill will paint a demo each morning to show students how to select, edit, and paint a scene full of light and atmosphere. On the last night everyone will gather in Bill’s backyard “tiki bar” for dinner, drinks and laughs.
This workshop is tailored to the advanced artist looking to get to the next level.

Bill is among the most accomplished representational painters working today. His paintings are rich with light, atmosphere, and emotional depth. Each painting offers a quiet narrative, drawing viewers into the beauty and subtle poetry of everyday life.
A 1980 graduate of The Ringling School of Art and Design, Bill has spent over 40 years as an illustrator and fine artist. He lives in Venice, Florida with his wife Debbie.

Number of students:
A maximum of 12 students will be enrolled.If fewer than 5 students enroll, the class will be cancelled and participants will be issued a full refund.
Cancellation policy:
Before January 18: full refunds less credit card fees
Workshop Cancellation by ASMA
If the workshop must be cancelled by ASMA, all tuition payments will be fully refunded.
