The American Society of Marine Artists is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to recognize, encourage and promote marine art and artists.
We hold National Marine Art Conferences with speakers, demonstrations, etc.

We hold exhibitions of member artwork in museums across the country. We also have for-sale shows at partnering galleries.
publications
We publish a print magazine which is mailed to our members quarterly.
Back issues can be read in the member area of this site.
Our book is based on our exhibition at the Pentagon building.
We are sponsoring this award at Art Renewal Center’s 17th International ARC Salon. We award $3000 in prize money.
The American Society of Marine Artists does not sell artwork.
The shows we hold are exhibitons in museums and the art is not for sale.
However, we do occasionally partner with galleries to create for-sale shows.
