use big brushes

I like to use big brushes. They help me to make large statements instead of fussing around with the details.

I use the biggest brush I can for any particular passage that I am painting.

I start a painting with big brushes, and after a while I start using medium size brushes, and then, only at the end, I use small brushes.

my mantra:

Never use a small brush with a big brush will do.
