ASMA East Regional Exhibition
The 2010 ASMA East Exhibition which began at the Biggs Museum
of American Art in Dover, DE, then moved to the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown,
MD. and finally ended at the Buffalo Naval and Military Park museum in Buffalo, NY, was such a success that it was held over for an additional week.
The Buffalo History Museum will be the initial host for ASMA's themed exhibition on the War of 1812 entitled "1812 - Star Spanghed Nation". It will open there in September 2013 and then move to other venues in Michigan, Connecticut, Vermont and Maryland.
When rain dampened the plein air painting day that Lias Egeli had arranged, the hardy group of painters shifted to visiting the Brandywine River Museum in Chads Ford, PA. Enjoying lunch in the museum were (clockwise from lower left) Vivian Norris, Don Norris, Phil Rossomando, Marilyn Rossomando, Tony Thompson, Bill Doying, Carolyn Doyang, Dick Moore and Toshi Moore.
52 pieces of large and small maritime art in various two and three dimensional medums were on display in "Blue Water/ Still Water" to universal acclimation.
